Ernest J. Thompson

Ernest J. Thompson, 82, of Lockbourne, OH, passed away on October 13, 2016. He was born on September 7, 1934. Ernest served in the U.S. Army from 1956-58. He was preceded in death by his parents, Ernie and Phoebe Thompson and sister, Ida Slone.

Surviving family includes wife, Anna Myrle, children, Jerry Lee Thompson, Michael Jay Thompson, Terry Lynn (Cassie) Thompson, Kimberly Ann (Sean Lemons) Funk, grandchildren, Cameron, Cassandra, Stephanie, Heather, Ashley, Tiffany, Elizabeth, Trevor, Abigail, great-grandchildren, Aubree, Dalton, sister, Roberta Meade and many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held from 5-8pm, Monday, October 17, 2016 at Newcomer Funeral Home and Crematory, SW Chapel, 3393 Broadway, Grove City, OH. A funeral service will be held at 11am, Tuesday, October 18, 2016 at the funeral home.

Burial will follow at Concord Cemetery, Grove City, OH.
