Erwin Sunderland

Erwin "Pat" Sunderland, age 85, went to be with the Lord on Monday, October 2, 2017. He was born in Columbus, OH on November 16, 1931 to the late John and Leona Sunderland.
Pat proudly served his country as a Sergeant in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict. He was an avid fisherman and a huge Ohio State Buckeye fan. He was also a member of the Bounder's RV club.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Lenora Sunderland; daughters, Leslie Sunderland and Tonya Labrador and several brothers and sisters.
He is survived by his children, Regina (Claude) Miller, Patti Sunderland, Jodi (Jeff) Buschman and Bradley (Jennifer) Sunderland; 8 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren; brother, Harold "Dick" Sunderland.
The family will receive friends from 12pm to 1pm, Thursday, October 5, 2017 at Newcomer Funeral Home, N.E., 3047 E. Dublin-Granville Rd., Columbus, OH 43231, where the funeral service will be held following at 1:00pm. Interment at Obetz Cemetery.
