Eschel Daniels

Eschel "Eck" Daniels, age 77, of Grove City, Ohio, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, February 3, 2018. He was born November 10, 1940 in Johnson County, KY.

Eck was a U.S. Army Veteran who served in Vietnam. He retired from Buckeye Steel Castings Company after 36 years of employment. Eck was an avid Kentucky Wildcats fan. He was an enthusiastic outdoorsman. He enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren whether it was fishing with Brady or watching Clay do tricks on his skateboard. He also enjoyed cornhole, playing euchre, and spending time with family and friends. He was an active member of Parsons Baptist Church for 43 years.

He was preceded in death by parents, Vance and Rilda Daniels; three brothers and four sisters. He is survived by his loving wife of 52 years, Opal Lee Daniels; son, Brian (Angie) Daniels; brother, Allen (Ruth) Daniels; two grandsons, Brady and Clay Daniels; step-grandson, Tyler Anderson; several nieces and nephews and numerous friends. Visitation will be on Wednesday, February 7, 2018 at Newcomer Funeral Home in Grove City, OH from 5:00 - 8:00 PM.

Funeral service will be held on Thursday, February 8, 2018 at 11:00 AM at Parsons Baptist Church, 3930 Parsons Ave, Columbus, OH.

Interment at Obetz Cemetery, Obetz, OH.
