Estelle Allen Newkirk, born on January 15, 1932, passed away peacefully on July 23, 2025 at the age of 93. Estelle was a talented individual who spent her career teaching dance at the Arthur Murray Studio. Dance was a lifelong passion for her, and she remained dedicated to it throughout her life. In addition to her teaching, Estelle was a trained flight attendant, showcasing her adventurous spirit.
Known fondly as "Aunt Stell," she was considered the "cool one" in the family. Her warmth and love for everyone touched the lives of those around her. Estelle shared her unwavering faith in Jesus Christ and lived her life embodying kindness and compassion.
Estelle was incredibly proud of her family, particularly her children: Vicki (Steve) Blommel, Elmer (Danita) Newkirk, and Jack (Debbie) Newkirk. She found great joy in her grandchildren—Shane (Samantha), Tracy (Mathew), and Mikela (Scott)—and her late grandson, Daniel. The love she showed to her great-grandchildren, Estelle/Stella, Emmett, Bastian, Wyatt, Shawn, Greta, and Bennett, brought her immense pride and happiness.
Estelle is survived by her loving family and many nieces and nephews who loved and adored her. She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Newkirk, parents, Hugh and Oma Allen, her siblings Hugh Jr., Virginia, William, and Alana, and her grandson Daniel.
Her legacy of love, faith, and dance will always be remembered by those whose lives she touched.
