Ethel Mae Hall, 86, of Pataskala, Ohio passed away Sunday, March 9, 2014 at her residence.
She was born August 6, 1927 in St. Paul, Virginia, daughter of the late Ira and Rebecca Haydon Cooke.
Ethel retired after many years from Schottensteins North and was a member of First Southern Baptist Church of Johnstown.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her brother, Ira Cooke killed in WWII and sisters, Angie Roberts, Audrey Vance, Ardella Jackson, Mary Morgan, Hazel Morgan and Phyllis Cooke.
A devoted wife for 25 years, Ethel is survived by her husband, James R. Hall. Also survived by her stepchildren, James A. Hall, Kim (Nick) Gulyassy and Jeanne (Jim) Heinmiller; sisters, Alvia Robenson, Fern Stowers and Erma Dailey; grandchildren, Kyle, Gabrielle and Victor Gulyassy, Erik and Joshua Heinmiller; great grandchildren, Ruthie and Ehren; nephew, Steve (Joan) Roberts; niece, Tina Roberts and numerous other family and friends.
Friends may call Thursday, March 13, 2014 from 6:00-7:00 PM at Newcomer Funeral Home NE Chapel, 3047 E. Dublin-Granville Rd. Columbus, with the prayer service beginning at 7:00 PM.
Graveside service will be Saturday, March 15, 2014 at 1:00 PM at Cooke Cemetery Iaeger, West Virginia.
