Ethel Loftus, 71, of Columbus, passed away Tuesday, March 8, 2016 at the Heartland of Westerville.
She was born January 4, 1945 in Petersburg, VA, daughter of the late Joseph Blankenship and Vertie Dowdy Rafferty Sr.
In addition to her parents, Ethel was preceded in death by her husband, Carl Loftus Sr.; infant son, Carl Loftus Jr.; brother, Joseph Rafferty II; sisters, Marion Lipscomb, Shirley Wilson and Donna Kerr.
She is survived by her children, Mary Kraft, Diane Conley-Tollett and Dan (Michelle) Loftus; grandchildren, Joe (Tiffany), Erin, Matt, Angela (Jay), Domenic, Kyle (Ciara), Carl, Delyssa, Erianna, Jenna and Ava; great grandchildren, Jacob, Ca'mya, Alex, Aaliyah, Kamden, Ben, Greyson and Elijah.
Visitation will be Wednesday, March 16, 2016 from 4:00-8:00 PM at Newcomer Funeral Home NE Chapel, 3047 E. Dublin-Granville Rd. Columbus.
Funeral service will be Thursday, March 17, 2016 at 11:00 AM at the funeral home.
Interment will be in Kingwood Memorial Park.
