Evan George Nice

Evan George Nice, 34, of Westerville, Ohio, passed away on September 13, 2026. He was born in Westerville on February 7, 1992.

Evan spent more than 15 years working in the food industry, where his true impact was felt not only in the work itself, but in his investment in the people he worked alongside. He was the kind of person who would drop anything to be where he was needed, and would never let anyone down. Those who worked with him and loved him knew they could count on him.

Evan had a lasting passion for sports, and he was always happier playing than watching from the sidelines. Rugby held a special place in his heart, and he brought the same energy and commitment to the field that he brought to everything else in his life.

Above all, Evan was known for his kindness and for loving his family more than anything in the world.

He is survived by his mother, Kimberly Wilkosz Nice (Ed); his father, Gregory Nice (Diane); his sister, Erin Bassitt (Brian); his nieces, Evelyn and Bellamy; step-siblings Sherry Stone (Justin) and Rick Murphy (Courtney); his grandmother Beverly Wilkosz; and he was preceded in death by his stepsister, Shannon Monahan; his grandparents Floyd Nice (Elsie) and George Wilkosz (Jean). Loved by many other extended family members and countless friends who will miss him dearly.

If you are unable to attend the services, family and friends are invited to gather for fellowship and remembrance. 

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
