Evelyn Christine Griffin

Evelyn Christine Griffin, age 64, passed away on February 4, 2025. She was born on June 19, 1960 in Oak Hill, Ohio to the late Charles Griffin and Margaret Thurston. She is preceded in death by her parents; sister, Charlene (Griffin) Grubaugh.

She leaves to cherish her memory her 3 brothers, Paul Griffin, of Columbus, David Griffin Sr. of Piketon, Ohio, Dan (Cindy Somers) Griffin, of Eaton, Ohio; sister, Linda (John) Cochran, of Columbus, Ohio; 2 nephews, David Griffin Jr. and family, of Lodi, Ohio and Michael Griffin and family, of Jackson, Ohio; cousins, Judy Thurston Brooks, Sherrie Thurston Lanier, and their families in Oak Hill, Ohio; childhood friend, Robin Samples, of Oak Hill, Ohio. Many other relative and friends too many to list, but please know, Tina enjoyed a special relationship with each and every one of you. 

Friends may call at the NEWCOMER NORTHEAST CHAPEL 3047 E. Dublin-Granville Road, Columbus, Ohio 43231 on Saturday, June 21, 2025 from 2:00pm until time of memorial service at 3:00pm. 

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of your choosing in Evelyn's memory, or The American Kidney Fund. 

Special thanks to the medical staff at Mount Carmel East Hospital, the DaVita Renal Services, and to everyone who assisted in taking care of Tina through their excellent service, and to everyone who provided floral gifts.
