Evelyn New, 87, of Columbus, passed away Tuesday, March 1, 2016 at her residence.
She was born February 7, 1929 in Columbus, daughter of the late George and Margaret Martin Wilkinson.
In addition to her parents, Evelyn was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond G. New Sr.; daughter, Louise Skellie; brother, Russell Wilkinson; sister, Jean Wilkinson.
She is survived by her children, Raymond New Jr., Thomas (Pat) New, James New, Karen (Joel) Gent and Sheri (Rick) Fairall; grandchildren, Joel, Jason, Tommy, Rick, Chris, Roger, Mark, Angie, Becky; son-in-law, Dan Skellie and several great grandchildren.
Visitation will be Sunday, March 6, 2016 from 2:00-4:00 and 6:00-8:00 PM at Newcomer Funeral Home NE Chapel, 3047 E. Dublin-Granville Rd. Columbus.
Funeral service will be Monday, March 7, 2016 at 10:00 AM at the funeral home.
Interment will be in Northlawn Memory Gardens.
