Faith L. Brown

It is with great sadness that the family of Faith L. Brown, 82, of Columbus, Ohio passed away January 11, 2016. She was born December 26, 1933. She was preceded into death by her parents Anna Mae Majors and Vernon Carr and brother Stacey Majors.

She was a loving Mother and Grandmother. She is survived by her daughters Hope, Charity and grandson Curtis; cousins, Jerry, John, Nancy, Bruce and Patrick Taylor; aunt, Jeanette Wilson; cousin Drew Grills; cousins, Anita and Rickey Denson; former husband, Leo Brown; in-laws, Carl (Dorothy) Ferguson, James (Pat) Brown, Sylvester (Shirley) Houston, David (Bessie) Brown, Tony (Yvette) Brown, Dwight (Mary) Brown, Cornelius (Carolyn) Brown, Barbara Brown and many nieces and nephews.

Faith was a graduate of the Grant Hospital School of Nursing and a member of Rhema Christian Center. She was known to family and friends as someone with a welcoming smile and a spirit of always willing to help others. She enjoyed gardening and also, known to send beautiful cards to provide words of encouragement to others in time of need and acknowledge personal achievements.

Family and friends will gather at Newcomer Funeral Home, NE Chapel, 3047 East Dublin-Granville Road, Columbus, OH at 6-8 PM on Tuesday, January 19, 2016. A Celebration of Faith's life will be held on Wednesday, January 20, 2016, at Rhema Christian Center, 2100 Agler Road, Columbus, OH 43224 with visitation at 10:00 AM and Funeral Service to follow at 11:00 AM. Dr. Lafayette Scales, Apostle will officiate.
