Flava "Curly" Stepp, age 71 of Columbus, OH, passed away on February 23, 2023. He was born August 20, 1951 to the late Andrew and Elsie Stepp in Pikeville, KY. Flava is survived by his loving wife of 51 years Bonnie (Spurlock) Stepp, children Beverly (Jesse) Stepp-Ledford, grandchildren Olivia Ledford, Cassie Uting, Damian (Ashley) Hall and Derrick (Kaitlyn) Hall, great grandchildren Damian Jr, Waylon, Mikayla, Brooklyn, DJ, Baby Derrick, Donnie, Silas and Xander, siblings Jack Stepp, Jeffrey Stepp, Jay Dee Stepp and Glendine Stepp. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by daughter Rebecca Stepp, sisters Faye Canode and Sue Turberville, nephews Rex Stevens and Jay Stepp.
Friends may call at Newcomer Funeral Home, SW Chapel, 3393 Broadway, Grove City, OH on Wednesday, March 8, 2023 from 11:00am until time of service at 1:00pm with Pastor Tim Womack officiating. Burial to follow at Obetz Cemetery, Obetz, OH.
