Flossie Mae (Adkins) Phillips

Flossie "Flo" Mae (Adkins) Phillips, 86 of Westerville, passed away at Heartland of Uptown Westerville on March 11, 2017. She was born on December 22, 1930 in Sandy Hook, KY. Flossie was a teacher within the Elliott County (KY) School System until 1953. Flo is survived by children Gary (Jan) Phillips of Lenoir City, TN and Marlisa (David) Elking of Northfield, MA; grandchildren Kirsten Phillips of Murfreesboro, TN, Jeb Phillips of Dallas, TX, Natalie Elking of Bayonne, NJ and Nicole Elking of New York, NY; sister Betty Parton of Stryker, OH. She is preceded in death by husband Willis John Phillips; mother Jewell (Adkins) Carroll; sisters Minnie Belle Litteral, Phyllis Pauline Johnston and Hazel Marie Davis.
Friends may call at Newcomer Funeral Home, NE Chapel, 3047 E. Dublin Granville Rd., Columbus on Tuesday, March 14, 2017 from 10am until time of service at 11:30am.
Burial to follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens, Columbus, OH.
