Floyd Eugene Wolford, also lovingly known to all as Blue, passed away peacefully on July 11, 2020. He was born on September 26, 1951 to George and Zella Wolford in Pickaway County, Ohio.
He honorably served our country in the United States Army where he received numerous medals for his service, including the Bronze Star, for meritorious service and achievements during the Vietnam War.
He married his teenage sweetheart, Pam, on October 21, 1971. He was a proud father to his two sons, Tim and Todd.
Blue always loved an adventure. He was an avid archer and enjoyed traveling to various regions for tournaments. He loved the great outdoors, whether it was hunting, fishing or golfing, always with Pam by his side. He would never turn down a trip to the casino or an impromptu card game with Family at the house.
His love for Family grew as he became a proud Papaw and Grandpa to his 5 loving Grandchildren: Jake, Zach, Zoey, Nick and Carter. Whether it was going to the boys' ballgames or fishing with Zoey and Carter at their pond, his pride and joy were in his Grandchildren.
Blue is preceded in death by his parents, George and Zella Wolford, his brother Larry Wolford, his Father and Mother in law, Denvil and Betty Cordial.
He is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 48 years, Pam, his loving sons Tim (Deanna), and Todd (Brandy), and his 5 grandchildren: Jake, Zach, Zoey, Nick and Carter. He is also survived by his loving siblings Terry (Cleo), Robert (Gerry), Mary Sanson (Sheridan), and Randy. Further survived by many adoring brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews.
Blue will live forever in the hearts of those who loved him. He will be deeply missed and may he now rest in God's Heavenly Kingdom.
