Frances A. Dixon
February 27, 1939 — December 11, 2016
Frances A. Dixon, 77, of Columbus, passed away Dec. 11, 2016 after a hard fought battle with Alzheimer's. She was a retired librarian for Columbus City Schools.
Preceded in death by parents, Charles and Gladys Bargar; husband, Harold Lee Dixon; sister, Jodell Cline; brother, Jack Bargar; and son, Jack Dixon.
Survived by children, Deidre "Dee-Dee" (Joe) Wagner and Christy (Brian) Gibson. Also survived by grandchildren, Mandy (Greg) Taylor, Nicole Wagner, Jesse, McKenna and Layla; and six great-grandchildren.
Visitation Wednesday, Dec. 14, 2016 from 5-8 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home, SW Chapel, 3393 Broadway, Grove City, OH 43123. Funeral Service Thursday, Dec. 15, 2016 at 10 am at the Funeral Home with Rev. Bruce Bell officiating. Burial to follow at Sunset Cemetery, Galloway, OH.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Frances' name to the Alzheimer's Association, Central Ohio Chapter, 1379 Dublin Rd., Columbus, OH 43215.
