Francis Thea Thompson

Francis "Tom" Thea Thompson, 90, passed away on April 11, 2014. He was born on July 6, 1923. He was a veteran serving from 1942-46 in the Navy and the Army. He was preceded in death by his parents, Francis T. and Thelma Thompson, brother, Billy Owen Thompson, daughter, Dixie Kinkead.

Surviving family includes, wife, Myrtle, children, Susan Haag, Gloria (Orville) Lyons, Jacob (Avis) Kinkead Jr., Frances Faye (Stephen Mickam) Thompson, brothers, Kenneth (Ginny) Thompson, Clyde S. DeLong Sr., Thomas DeLong, sister, Esther Childre, sister-in-law, Mary Kay Thompson and many loving grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchild and a host of friends.

Visitation will be held from 5-8pm, Tuesday, April 15, 2014 at Newcomer Funeral Home and Crematory, SW Chapel, 3393 Broadway, Grove City, OH. A funeral service will be held at 11am, Wednesday, April 16, 2014 at the funeral home.

Burial will follow in Fernwood Cemetery, Lockbourne, OH. In lieu of flowers, donations may be directed to the Kidney Foundation and Honor Flight Columbus.
