Francisco Javier Ruiz

Francisco Javier Ruiz, 91, of Delaware, passed away on Monday, January 12, 2015. He was born on November 11, 1923, in Chihuahua, Mexico, to the late Jesus Ruiz and Maria de Jesus Maese de Ruiz.
Francisco became a U.S. resident in 1996 and a U.S. citizen in 2006. He was very proud of this and the fact he could vote.
Francisco was a lover of life. He enjoyed a good drink and a good book. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
In addition to his parents, Francisco was preceded in death by his brother, Ezequiel Ruiz; sister, Elma Ruiz; and son, Hector Ruiz. He is survived by his wife of 66 years, Maria-Luisa Ruiz; daughter and son-in-law, Dalila & Val Osipov; daughter-in-law, Blanca Ruiz; grandsons, Omar (Elizabeth) Heras and Hector (Nataly) Ruiz; great-grandchildren, Caesar Francisco Heras, Alexandra Heras, and Priscila Yamil Ruiz; brothers, Enrique (Maria) Ruiz and Raul (Shelley) Ruiz; and sister, Rebeca Vda. de Campos.
A graveside service will be held at 2:00pm on Friday, January 16, 2015 at Kingwood Memorial Park, 8230 Columbus Pike, Lewis Center, OH 43035.
