Frank New

Frank New, 91, went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Wednesday, August 6, 2025, at Mt. Carmel East Hospital, Columbus, Ohio.

Frank was born in Burnwell, Kentucky to the late Andy and Holly New. He is also preceded in death by his first wife of 69 years, Betty New.

Frank was a member of Parsons Ave Church of God. He enjoyed spending time with his large family. Frank loved fishing and his annul trips to Myrtle Beach with his late wife Betty. He also enjoyed watching old Western shows and movies. Frank loved talking about the Lord every chance he got.

Frank is survived by his current wife Elizabeth New. His children Curtis New (Debbie), Karen Smathers (Ray) and Marsha Humphrey (Joe), 11 grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild. Also survived by Elizabeth's children Juanita Hernandez (Geraldo), Teresa Morris (Charlie), Ted Cooke (Carla) and Jerry Cooke (Jenny), 9 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.

Visitation will be held 11:00am to 1:00pm, August 15, Friday at Newcomer Funeral Home, Grove City, Ohio.

Funeral services will follow visitation at 1:00pm, at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Forest Lawn Cemetery, Columbus, Ohio.

The family would like to thank the ICU and Hospice units at Mt. Carmel East Hospital for their care and support to Frank and the family.
