Frankie L. Marcum, 73, passed away on Tuesday, October 18, 2016 at her home in Columbus, OH surrounded by her loving family. Frankie was born on February 19, 1943 in Corbin, KY to Clyde and Annabelle Barton.

Frankie is preceded in death by her parents; son, David Marcum; step-son, Timothy Ray Marcum; and brother, Billy Barton.

She is survived by husband of 44 years, Donald R. Marcum; sisters, Phyllis (Phil) Varney and Jeanette Bryant; brother, Michael Barton; several nieces and nephews with special nieces, Tina (Eric) Casto and Tara (Dan) Thompson; and many other loving family members and friends.

Frankie retired from Legal Aid Society of Columbus after 42 years of employment. She enjoyed cooking, gardening and reading. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

Family will receive friends on Monday, October 24, 2016 from 11:00am to 1:00pm at Newcomer Funeral Home, NE Chapel, 3047 East Dublin-Granville Road, Columbus, OH 43231 followed by funeral services at 1:00pm. She will be laid to rest at Blendon Central Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Amazing Grace Baptist Church, 1288 W. Broad St. Columbus, OH 43222 in Frankie's honor.
