Fredrick E. Danko "Fred", age 74, went home to heaven on Wednesday October 4, 2017 and now truly is "fine, fine, fine".
He is preceded in death by his parents James and Thelma Danko; brother and sister-in-law James and Jane Danko.
Fred is survived by brothers Norm (Pam) Danko and Tom (Peggy) Danko; sisters Pat (David) Holland, and Mary (Bob) Goodwin; nephews David (Lisa) Holland, Odin (Nina) Danko, Brian (Kayla) Danko, James Danko, Rob and Charles Goodwin; nieces Kim Holland and Jenny Danko; great-nephews Malachi, Logan, Parker, Gabriel, Jack, Ryan, and Joey; great-nieces Bella and Kyleigh; life long friends Darlene Baker and Odesia Kelley.
He graduated from Central High School, associated with The Salvation Army, and worked 30 years for the Columbus Public school system.
Visitation will be Monday October 9, 2017 at Newcomer Funeral Home, Grove City, from 5-8pm. Service will be at the funeral home on Tuesday October 10, 2017 at 11am. Burial to follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers donations can be made in Fred's memory to Mt. Carmel West Hospice.
