Fred W. "Bud" Darst, 85, passed away on August 5, 2014 in Columbus, OH surrounded by his loving family. He was born on December 14, 1928 in Blacklick, OH to Fred C. and Gladys (Floyd) Darst.
Fred is preceded in death by his parents; sister, Florence Forthergill; and daughter, Arlene Wilson.
He is survived by his wife, Lena Darst; children, Roy (Brenda) Darst, Joe (Sue) Darst, and Lois (Randy) Wilson; step-children, Rhonda Molter, Roy Hardy and Sharon (Jeff) Booth; grandchildren, Jennifer, Chad, Todd, Adam, Jessica, Michele, and Lori; great grandchildren, Brayden, Liam, Kayla, Jace, and Killian; brother, Vernal (Mary Ann) Darst; and many other loving family members and friends.
Family will receive friends on Friday, August 8, 2014 from 11:00am-1:00pm at Newcomer Funeral Home, NE Chapel, 3047 E. Dublin-Granville Rd. Columbus, OH 43231 followed by funeral services at 1:00pm.
