Buyer, Freda M., 49, of Columbus (born May 12, 1964), passed away (December 31, 2013) after a brief illness.
She is survived by her son, Travis, and daughters, Amber and Trystan. Also survived by sisters Hope Hindrichs, Lil (Nancy) DeCola and Julie (Wayne) Allen; brothers Jimmy (Claudette), William, and Jack (Clara) Johnson, and her twin brother, Russell Tetzloff; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Preceded in death by her parents, Fred and Ruth Tetzloff, and sister, Felicite Wise.
A graduate of the American Institute of Alternative Medicine, Freda excelled at giving healing massages. She had an unsurpassed green thumb and could always nurse sickly plants back to life. In addition, she could cheer up a room of people with her infectious laughter and love of life. She loved her cats, dogs, all animals, and being with people. She also loved to laugh, and the simplest gift or act of kindness meant the world to her. Above all, she loved her children and her family. The world has lost a special spirit, and she will be missed by all of her large family and many friends.
Family and friends will gather on Sunday, January 12, 2014, 2-4 PM at Newcomer Funeral Home, NE Chapel, 3047 East Dublin Granville Road, Columbus, OH 43231.
In addition, a Celebration of her life will be held January 25, 2014 at the Karl Road Christian Church, 5400 Karl Road, Columbus, Ohio 43229 from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully requests that donations be made in her name to the American Diabetes Association, 937 High Street, Worthington, Ohio 43085.
