Frederick Allen Boggs

Frederick Allen Boggs, age 80, passed away at the London Health and Rehabilitation Center on July 2, 2025. He was born April 8, 1945 in Columbus, Ohio to the late William Quentin and Myrtle (Bare) Boggs.

Fred was preceded in death by his brothers, Jerry (Delores), Bill (Joyce) and Ronnie; and recently on June 21, 2025, his nephew, Ricky Boggs.

Fred leaves behind his brother, Alvin “Eddie” (Marilyn) Boggs; sister-in-law, JoAnn Boggs; and many nieces, nephews, and friends.

Fred was an avid aviator all his adult life and was a member of the EAA, owning many airplanes and taught many people to fly. Fred served in the United States Army and was honorably discharged in 1971.

In his work life, he was a contractor in home repairs and construction.

The family would like to express our thanks and appreciation to Zach Flannery and Joey Martin Ortiz, who gave Fred care and companionship for many years.

The family will have a Memorial Gathering of Friends and Family on July 27, 2025 from 2:30 to 4:30pm at the Prairie Township Community Center, 5955 West Broad Street, Galloway, Ohio 43119. Burial will follow at the Prairie Township Cemetery, Galloway, Ohio.
