G.Irene Pennington, age 66, went to heaven to be with her beloved Lord & Savior, Jesus Christ, on Wednesday, November 29, 2017, at home. Irene retired from the U. S. Post Office. Irene loved her dogs and cats, her kids, her grandkids, and the Buckeyes.
Preceded in death by the love of her life, Clinton George Pennington, her parents Alton and Faye Cline, her siblings, Ronald Gene, Layvonne, and Agnes Cline. Survived by her children, Matthew Dillon, Beth Pennington, and George Pennington, grandchildren, Nathan Waller, Marshall and Jesse Dillon, Cory and Kayla Pennington, Hannah and Hailey Harris, sisters, Donna (Paul) Kazee, Shirley (David) Bell, Connie Green and many nieces and nephews who she loved and supported in various ways.
Visitation will be held from 1-3pm, Saturday, December 9, 2017 at Newcomer, SW Chapel, 3393 Broadway, Grove City, OH, where a service will begin at 3pm.
In lieu of Flowers, donations can be made to the ASPCA, St. Jude's Children's Hospital, or Children's Medical Missions West at CMMwest.com. Please visit www.NewcomerColumbus.com to leave a message for the family.
