Gabriel "Gabe" McLaughlin

Gabriel “Gabe” Morgen McLaughlin, 21, of Grove City, Ohio, passed away December 6, 2025. Born October 24, 2004, in Columbus, Gabe was a student at Mississippi State University studying Botany, driven by his dream to find natural treatments for brain cancer and neurological disorders.

He is survived by his father Kevin McLaughlin, mother Bobbie (Carawan) McCleery, stepfather Shaun McCleery, sister Emily, brothers Dakota and Brandon, and a large extended family of grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins, church family, and friends.

Known for his unmatched energy, fearless and faithful spirit, and humor - often wildly inappropriate - Gabe loved God and dogs, while tolerating everyone else, and gave his all in everything he did. His laughter and light will remain forever in the hearts of those who knew him.

Visitation Friday, December 12, 2025 from 4-7pm at New Life Baptist Church, 3989 Neff Rd., Grove City, OH 43123. Additional visitation Saturday, December 13, 2025 from 10am until the time of Funeral Service at 11am at the Church. Interment to follow at Paint Township Cemetery, London, OH.
