Gary E. Williams, 62, of Columbus, OH passed away peacefully on Thursday, June 23, 2016, after a courageous battle with cancer. He was born to Eugene and Mary (Kinney) Williams on March 5, 1954 in Newton, NJ. He is preceded in death by his parents; sister, Christine; brothers, Rick and Bob and great-granddaughter, Rae'Lynn.
He is survived by his children, Dawn (Chris) Hamilton, Gary Williams II, Marissa (Tommy) Campbell; sister, Irene (Dick) Decker; brothers, Gene Williams and Neal Williams; former spouse and also best friend, Michele "Mickey" Williams; grandchildren, Christopher, Joshua, Michaela, Mollie, Noah and Autumn; great-grandchildren, Payton, Bently and Kaicyn. The family would like to say a special thank you to all of the staff at Ohio Health Hospice for all of their kindness and care during Gary's illness.
The family requests that donations be sent in memory of Gary Williams to the Ohio Health Hospice, 180 E. Broad St., Floor 31, Columbus, OH 43215-3707
A visitation will be held at Newcomer Funeral Home, 3393 Broadway, Grove City on Monday, June 27, 2016 from 6 PM-8 PM.
Interment and a graveside service will be held at St. Joseph Cemetery, 6440 S. High St, Lockbourne, OH at 10 AM. The procession will begin at the funeral home at 9 AM and proceed to the cemetery from there.
