Gary Horn
January 30, 1954 — February 9, 2017
Gary J. Horn of Orient, OH passed away on Thursday, February 9th, 2017 at the age of 63. He strived to increase his quality of life as he persevered surgeries-recoveries in recent years.
Gary's work career spanned 35 plus years as a valued member of Local 189. Preceded in death by his Parents Jerry & Emma Horn of Columbus, Ohio.
Survived by four children: Amy M. Horn Hickory, NC, Gary Jason Horn (Amy) Cincinnati, OH, Travis D. Horn (Meghan) Washington Courthouse, OH and Shannon L. Horn of Nicaragua. Grandchildren: Cassidy, Brek & soon to arrive Gracelynn Horn. Siblings: Teresa Kelly (Dennis), Mickey Horn (Sharon) and Jerry D. Horn (Pam). Nieces/Nephews: Jeremy Kelly( Adrienne), Karen Matheny(Shane), Ryan Horn, Jerrad Horn (Kara) and Dustin Horn. Great Nieces/Nephews: Taylor, Ashton & Aubrey Kelly , Mallory & Evan Matheny.
Family will receive friends at Newcomer Funeral Home and Crematory, SW Chapel, 3393 Broadway, Grove City, OH on Friday, February 17th from 11am to 1pm. A life celebration will be observed at 1 pm. An interment graveside at Obetz Cemetery immediately after will close his life journey.
