Gary L. Jones, 67, lost his battle with cancer on June 22, 2024.

He was born to Richard Jones and Lila (Watson) Jones on July 8, 1956, at Grant Hospital in Columbus, Ohio. He graduated from Walnut Ridge High School.

He worked at the paper mill for over 20 years and also worked in property management with his wife, Christina (Holbrook) Jones.

During his retirement, Gary spent his days playing golf, watching his favorite television shows, and spending time with his family.

Gary was an avid fan of soccer and never missed a game for his favorite teams. He was also an exceptional cook who loved to experiment and make up new recipes. He was America’s Test Kitchen’s #1 fan.

He is predeceased by his father Richard Jones, mother Lila Edwards, sister Mickey McFarland, brother Paul Andrew Jones, stepfather Kenneth Edwards, and stepson Justin Clark.

He is survived by his wife Christina Jones; children Gary (Teresa) Jones, Summer (Dane) Tussey, Jordan (Heather) Clark, Josh (Hannah) Clark, Katelyn Clark, Kelen Jones, and Kassidy Jones; brothers Kyle Jones and Steve Jones; many beloved nieces, nephews, grandchildren, and so many more family and friends who he loved dearly.

A Visitation will be held on Monday, July 1, 2024, from 5:00 pm to 6:30 pm with a Memorial Service immediately following at Newcomer Funeral Home 3047 East Dublin Granville Road, Columbus, OH 43231.
