Gary R. Limbach, age 67, passed away in Christ on Tuesday, December 13, 2016. He was born in Columbus, OH on July 30, 1949 to the late Harrold and Ester Limbach. He is survived by his loving wife of 44 years, Joy; daughters, Alison (Josh) Pfeifer and Elisabeth (Jerett) Sauer; grandsons, Levon, Grant, Mason and Lincoln; Mother in law, Jean McRoberts; Sister, Jill (Dan) Morrison and family and special friends, Kirk (Norma) Westervelt, Lou (Carolyn) Wieczorek; Brother in law, John McRoberts.
He was dedicated to his teaching career, he took it seriously and that continuously showed in 35 years at Gahanna Lincoln and Columbus State. In the days of facebook, he received many messages from past colleagues and students sharing how he had postively affected their lives, which meant a lot to him. Even his favorite doctor (Dr. Aaron Boster) was a former student at GLHS.
Although we miss him dearly, we know that he is sharing his first Christmas in heaven with his parents, father-in-law, and numerous family and friends.
The family will receive friends from 4pm to 7pm, Monday December 19, 2016 at Newcomer Funeral Home, S.W., 3393 Broadway, Grove City, OH 43123, where a Masonic Service will be held at 7:00pm.
