Gary Lee Miller

Gary Lee Miller lived a simple life filled with love for his family, his country, and the open road. A proud United States Navy veteran and lifelong truck driver, Gary believed in hard work, self-reliance, loyalty, and taking care of the people he loved most.

Of all the things in his life, his greatest joy was raising his children — Bobby, Jason, and Amy. Though his son Jason passed before him, there is comfort in knowing he was waiting for his dad at Heaven’s door.

Jason’s passing changed the course of Gary and Bonnie’s marriage, but they remained united in their love for their children and continued to come together as a family through the years. Bonnie remained by his side and cared for him until the very day he passed.

In his final weeks, Bobby and Amy also lovingly cared for him, surrounding him with comfort, presence, and love.

His grandchildren were the light of his life and brought him endless pride and happiness. He leaves behind six beloved grandchildren: Codey, Jason, Hannah, Kaden, Brayden, and Tyson; and five treasured great-grandchildren: Caylee, Camreigh, Dallas, Raelynn, and Brantley.

He will be remembered for his quiet strength, love for his country, and the deep love he carried for his family every day of his life.

He will be greatly missed and forever loved.

He was preceded in death by his father, Robert Lee Miller; his mother, Alice Claire Miller; his sister, Lois; his brother, Larry; and his son, Jason Boyd Miller.

The family would also like to extend a heartfelt thanks to hospice and Cornerstone for the compassion, care, and support shown to Gary and his loved ones during his final days.

Visitation Friday, June 5, 2026 from 12pm until the time of Funeral Service at 1pm at Newcomer, SW Chapel, 3393 Broadway, Grove City, OH. Interment to follow at Sunset Cemetery, Galloway, OH.
