Gary W. Ratliff, 45, passed away on September 7, 2014 in Columbus, OH surrounded by his loving family, after a courageous battle with cancer. He was born in Columbus on September 17, 1968 to Marlow Ratliff II and Jean Craft.
Gary is preceded in death by his father; and grandmother, Kathy Maggiore.
He is survived by his children, Gary Ratliff II and Nicholas Ratliff; mother, Jean Craft; sisters, Teresa Ratliff and Sharon (Jorge) Belvis; nephews Rich and Grant; nieces Jessica and Cortney; great niece Rylie; and many other loving family members and friends.
Family will receive friends on Thursday, September 11, 2014 from 2:00pm-4:00pm and 6:00pm-8:00pm at Newcomer Funeral Home, NE Chapel, 3047 E. Dublin-Granville Rd. Columbus, OH 43231. Services will be held on Friday, September 12, 2014 at 12:00pm at New Life Church, 3690 N. Stygler Rd. Gahanna, OH 43230. He will be laid to rest at Northlawn Memory Gardens.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to The James Cancer Research Center at by emailing to Thomas.Muzyka@osumc.edu.
