Geneva "Genie" E. Carey

Geneva Ellene Carey, age 78, of Dublin, Ohio passed away on July 12, 2024. Genie was born on March 16, 1946 to the late E. Eugene and Thelma Stewart in Columbus, Ohio. 

Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her brother, Jerry Stewart, and her beloved dogs, Lilly and Abby.

She is lovingly survived by her siblings, Carol South and Terry Stewart, her former husband Wally, her nieces and nephews, Tina, Jamie, and Jason, and numerous great and great-great nieces and nephews.

"Aunt Genie" although not having children, was the Matriarch of many. She will be very dearly missed by all those who knew and loved her. Especially for her kindness, patience, wisdom, her loving heart, and let's not forget her cooking and one-of-a-kind milkshakes. 

A Graveside Service for Genie will be held Saturday, August 24th at 3:30 pm at Sunset Cemetery- 6959 West Broad St. Galloway, Ohio.
