Geneva F. Everett, 69, of Columbus, passed away Saturday, April 23, 2016 at The Kobacker House.
She was born December 11, 1946 in Columbus, daughter of the late Robert and Mary (McCullough) Motley.
In addition to her parents, Geneva was preceded in death by her husband, John Everett; brothers, William and Robert Motley; sister, Sharon Letson.
She was a member and Sunday school teacher at Lighthouse Community Baptist Church.
Geneva is survived by her children, Dr. Shawn (Laurie) Poyser, Michelle (Danny) Broyles, Michael (Lexi) Brofford and John Brofford; sisters, Joanne Robinson and Susan Stewart; grandchildren, Joseph, Amber, Eva, Jordan, Shane, Jacob and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be Thursday, April 28, 2016 from 2:00-4:00 and 6:00-8:00 PM at Newcomer Funeral Home NE Chapel, 3047 E. Dublin-Granville Rd. Columbus.
Funeral service will be Friday, April 29, 2016 at 11:00 AM at the funeral home, with Elder Robert Watkins, officiating.
Interment will be in Union Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Kingdom Power Baptist Church, 980 Lenore Ave. Columbus, OH 43224.
