George W. Conner

George Wayne Conner, age 71, of Grove City, OH went into the arms of the Lord peacefully but unexpectedly surrounded by his family on September 26, 2018. Born July 13, 1947 in Oak Hill,W.V. to parents: George C. and Rebecca Virginia (Sizemore) Conner. Besides his parents he is preceded in death by his brother, John Douglas Widener, niece, Christi Widener Van Kirk, grandparents: Andrew and Emily (Forbes) Conner, James Roscoe and Willa (Lambert) Sizemore. Several aunts and uncles and cousin, Michael Garrett.

He survived by the love of his life of 48 years, Margaret (Morrison) Conner, daughter, Cheryl Conner, sons: Michael Conner and Richard Conner, 4 grandchildren and 4 great-granddaughters, uncle, Kenneth (Sharon) Sizemore, aunts: Helen Burton and Jackie Garrett, special sister-in-law, Katherine G. Morrison as well as many loving nieces, nephews and extended family and friends.

George retired from National Electric Coil after 40 years of service. George was an avid Cincinnati Bengals and The Ohio State Buckeyes Football fan as well as Nascar Racing. George was very family focused and loved his family more than anything. He will be sorely missed by all but not forgotten. Special thank you to Doctors West Hospital Trauma Team.

Friends and family may call Thursday October 4 , 2018 from 5 pm -8 pm at Newcomer Southwest Chapel, 3393 Broadway, Grove City OH, where a funeral service will take place Friday October 5, 2018 at 10am, burial to follow at Sunset Cemetery, Galloway OH.
