George Daniel Carey

George Daniel Carey, 80, passed away on Thursday, June 12, 2025, in Westerville, Ohio. George was born on October 5, 1944, in Middletown, New York, to Daniel and Letha (Darling) Carey.

George is preceded in death by his parents, Daniel and Letha (Darling) Carey, and his brother, Robert Carey.

He is survived by his wife of 60-plus years, Judy Carey; daughter, Kim Carey; granddaughter, Miesha Carey; brother John Carey, and numerous other family members.

George loved the outdoors. He was a hunter, a motorcycle enthusiast, and a marathon runner. He loved to play cards, listen to music, and dance with his beautiful wife. They spent time together drinking Pepsi and going to the beach.

He was a good Christian man. He was a proud member of the United States Air Force for 6 years. He was a printing press man for over 40 years, and he spent 16 years with the Westerville Schools. He was a big family man.

The family will receive friends on July 12, 2025, from 12:00 pm to 1:30 pm at Faith Covenant Church, 3607 Dempsey Road, Westerville, Ohio 43081. A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, July 12, 2025, at 1:30 pm, also at Faith Covenant Church.
