George R. Davis, 91, of Columbus, passed away Friday, January 17, 2014 at St. Ann's Hospital.
He was born July 28, 1922 in Groveport, son of the late Lucius and Arvilla Rager Davis.
George is survived by his children, Monday (Tom) Miller, Bruce (Kathy) Davis, JoAnn Newsome and Lynda (Ken) Andrews; sister, Bettie Seabolt; grandchildren, Tracie Spencer, Thomas Miller, Michael Smith, Lauri O'Keefe, Amy Sauer, Andrea Davis, Justin Andrews, Jennifer Andrews and fifteen great grandchildren.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff at Mt. Carmel Hospice and Kensington Place.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Mt. Carmel Hospice c/o Mt. Carmel Foundation, 6150 E. Broad St. Columbus, OH 43213.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Newcomer Funeral Home NE Chapel, 3047 E. Dublin-Granville Rd. Columbus.
