George William Ellis

George William Ellis died in an unfortunate accident on Oct. 5, 2020, at the age of 65.
George is survived by his three children, Renee, Kelly, and Kim Ellis; his sister, Elizabeth A. (Neal) Lauron; previous wives, Soudabeh Ellis and Angi Ellis.
He was preceded in death by brother, James D. Ellis; parents, John D. and Janet D. Ellis.
George was born on March 19, 1955 in Birmingham, England to John and Janet Ellis. He immigrated to the United States with his parents in 1962. He graduated from California State Northridge University in 1982 with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration with an Accounting emphasis. He was a man born with many natural talents, one of which was general construction and handyman work. George was also an accomplished musician and played piano and guitar as well as being a successful vocalist. Throughout his life, George enjoyed playing soccer and was an avid follower of English football. He thoroughly enjoyed trivia and loved watching the TV game show, Jeopardy. In his most recent years, George performed regularly at Del's Keg Room on West Broad St. in Columbus, OH.
A special night to celebrate George's life will be held on Sunday, Oct. 25, 2020, starting at 4pm at Del's Keg Room, 3689 Columbus, OH 43228.
