George J. Coleman

George J. Coleman, 86, of Columbus, OH, passed away on December 20, 2015. He was born on November 20, 1929 in Pikeville, KY. He was preceded in death by his parents, Lon and Polly Coleman, daughter-in-law, Christy Coleman, twelve grandchildren & great grandchildren, one son, brother, Alvin Coleman and sister, Geraldine Coleman.

Surviving family includes wife, Lucille, children, Larry Coleman, Ricky (Kathy) Coleman, Connie (Kenny) Dean, Kathy (Mark) Starr, Randy (Tracy) Coleman, siblings, Irvin (Pearl) Coleman, Earl (Gatha) Coleman, James (Faye) Coleman, Inez Lambert. Grandchildren; Kaylene, Tabitha, Wendy, Cindy, Kenny, Melanie, Mariah, Mandy, Amber, Shari, Brandon, RJ, Taylor, Jenny and Lauren. Great-grandchildren; Abbie, Gracie, Caleb, Brianna, Georgia, Jacob, Molly, Isiac, Gaberial, Kenny, Cloe, Liam, Sarah, Aubre, Eli, Ella, Hunter and Ava.

Visitation will be held from 12:30 to 1:30pm, Wednesday, December 23, 2015 at Parsons Avenue Church of God, 3389 Parsons Avenue, Columbus, OH, where a funeral service will begin at 1:30pm. Burial will follow at Obetz Cemetery, Obetz, OH.
