George W. Levisay (April 2, 1930-February 25, 2017)
Survived by wife of 68 years, Dorothy Alice, son George (Maria) Levisay II of Trindad, Colorado, granddaughter Lisa (Rob Kovalchik) Van Horne of Columbus, Ohio and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren, including five generations of George Walters.
Preceded in death by parents Charles and Marie Levisay, eleven siblings and daughter Patricia Jean.
Born and lived in Columbus, Ohio his entire life, attending Central High School.
Drove a truck for over 30 years and was active in the Teamsters Union.
Started the first Teamsters Credit Union in Columbus, Ohio.
Past Master of the Ralph R. Rickly Masonic Lodge and past President of the Franklin County Memorial Lodge in 1980.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to Mt. Carmel St. Ann's Hospice for their help and care.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Newcomer Funeral Home NE Capel, 3047 E. Dublin-Granville Rd. Columbus.
