George "Dick" McConnell, 92, of Columbus, Ohio, passed away October 27, 2020.
He was born in Zanesville, OH on July 2, 1928 to the late George and Mary (Moorehead) McConnell.
He is preceded in death by his; brothers, David McConnell, Don McConnell, Dan McConnell; sisters, Wilma Beavers, and Rita LeMasters.
Surviving family includes sister, Alma Lasure; as well as many loving nieces and nephews.
Dick was in the Army and lived his life to the fullest.
He traveled over most of the country and held many jobs, starring in the movies to working at the Rockwell Axile Plant in Newark, Ohio.
Dick was an avid square dancer.
His later years were spent in an amazing neighborhood and loved his neighbors; Merle, Barb, Mike, Mia, Sue, Mel, George, Annette, Amy and Carol as his extended family.
