George D. Powers, age 85, passed away Saturday, August 26, 2017. He was born October 25, 1931 in Washington Court House, OH.
George was a member of the F&AM Mt. Sterling Masonic Lodge #269. He is a veteran of the US Air Force and Air National Guard 121st Tactical Fighter Wing.
He is survived by wife of 60 years, Leona; children, Gail (John) Miller, George Greg Powers, Tracy Powers and Jon (Tina) Powers; grandchildren, Ashley (Justin) Kolb, Brandon Miller, Paige Musselman, Jon Luke Powers and Zachary Powers; great-grandchildren, Aidan Rice, Ava and Scarlett Kolb; sister, Sue Dennis.
Preceded in death by parents, Goldie and Guy Dennis; brother, John Dennis.
Graveside service will be held Wednesday, August 30, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. at Pleasant Cemetery, 14220 Era Rd, Mt. Sterling, OH 43143.
