George R. Allen, 79, of Columbus, passed away April 26, 2015. George was born in Keystone, WV on October 25, 1935, to Walter and Viola (Lee) Allen and is preceded in death by his parents; sons, Tyrone and Stanley Allen; brothers, Robert and James Allen.
Survivors include his sons, George Allen, Jr and Eric Allen; sister, Patricia Dalton; brothers, Melvin (Julia) Allen, Charles and Walter Allen; daughter-in-law, Sharon Allen; sisters-in-law, Edith Allen and Mary Allen; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends.
George was a Chef at many restaurants in Columbus.
A Graveside Service will be held on Thursday, April 30, 2015, 2:00 PM at Green Lawn Cemetery, 1000 Greenlawn Avenue, Columbus. OH. 43223.
