George H. Siders, age 88 of Hillsboro, OH, passed away peacefully August 6, 2017. He was born in Columbus, OH on July 20, 1929 to Elmer and Ruth (Shatto) Siders.
Preceding him in death are his parents; brothers John, Charlie, Curtis, and Nate; sister Ella Mae.
George is survived by his loving wife of 37 years Marjorie L. Siders; Son Ronald (Corrine) Siders; four grandchildren; one great-grandchild in Oxford, England; stepson Charles (Lynn) Stevens; sister Marie Gussler of Lithopolis; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
George served in the U.S. Army for 20 years and loved the Cincinnati Reds and The Ohio State Buckeyes.
Graveside service will be on Saturday August 12, 2017 at Riverside Cemetery in Gahanna OH at 10am. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Georges Memory to Hospice of Fayette County, 222 N. Oakland Ave., Washington Court House, OH 43160.
