George Randall Swisher, 77, passed away on Wednesday, October 17, 2018 in Gahanna, OH. George was born on May 25, 1941 in Columbus, OH to the late George and Thelma (Shell) Swisher.
In addition to his parents, George is preceded in death by his sister, Susan Swisher.
He is survived by his loving wife of 56 years, Patricia "Patty" (Sheridan) Swisher; daughter, Lisa (Tom) Fravel; sons, Randall Swisher and Daniel (Shelly) Swisher; granddaughter, Traci Fravel; grandsons, Cameron and Ryan Swisher and Jeremy Lofty; 7 great-grandchildren.
George loved spending time with his family. He also enjoyed golfing, fishing and boating. George had a great sense of humor that is carried on through his family.
Family will receive friends on Saturday, October 20, 2018 from 4 pm to 6 pm at Newcomer NE Chapel, 3047 E. Dublin-Granville Rd., Columbus, OH 43231. A funeral service will follow at 6 pm.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in George's honor to Kindred Hospice, 540 Officecenter Place, Gahanna, OH 43230.
