Gerald F. Hinkle, (Frank) Sr.
Born June 1, 1952 in Nallen, West Virginia.
Left his loving family September 1, 2020. He was preceded by his father, Gerald L. Hinkle and is survived by his mother, Wanda Hinkle; his son Gerald F. Hinkle Jr. (Jennifer); his daughter Carrie Hinkle-Zody; his sisters Karon (Lowell) Murphy, Alicia (Kevin) Henderson; his brother, Gary (Rana) Hinkle; his grandchildren, Brittany (Nick) Ullum, Camden and Magdalene Hinkle, Aiden Zody, and surrogate grandchildren, Matthew and Andrew Singer; his great grandchildren; Cooper, Coen, and Rory Ullum; his many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins; and his best friend, confidant, and surrogate brother, Johnny Pompa.
He was a big fan of the West Virginia Mountaineers, The Ohio State Buckeyes, and the Cleveland Browns. He loved music and had a special love for Motown. He was a Master Plumber by trade. He attended North High School in Columbus, Ohio. He embodied a spirit of warmth and giving, and he never hesitated to help family and friends in need. His greatest proudest achievement was being a father and grandfather. He loved deeply.
Newcomer Funeral Home, 3393 Broadway, Grove City. Showing will be Saturday, September 5th from 11:30 a.m. until 1:30 p.m. Service is at 1:30 p.m. Pastor Timothy Womack will be officiating, and anyone who would like to speak about Frank will be welcomed to do so.
