He was born on March 21, 1943 in Reedsburg, OH to the late Walter and Lucille (Cancamp) Kauffman.
He was preceded in death by his brothers, Duwayne and Dean Kauffman; and nephew, Craig Garrett.
Surviving family includes wife of 56 years, Janet; daughters, Kim (Steve) Quinn of Marengo, OH, Nancy Kauffman of Columbus, OH; sister, Donna Garrett of Wooster, OH; grandson, Jordan Clipse of Mt. Vernon, OH; 5 nieces and 1 great-nephew.
