Gerald L. Ryan, 77, Bonita Springs, FL and formerly of Westerville, went home to be with the Lord on November 21, 2015. Gary was preceded in death by his parents, Harry B. Ryan, Sr and Susan M. (Anthony) Ryan and brother, Harry B. Ryan, Jr.
Survived by Yvonne Ryan, married in 1960 and whose hearts were never separated; son, Gary (Stacy Kirkendall) Ryan; daughter, Leslie Ryan and beloved son-in-law, George Lehner; brother, John (Mary) Ryan,Sr; grandchildren, Rob (Lina) Lehner, Dee Lehner, Shannon Lehner; numerous nephews, nieces, cousins and friends.
Gary served in the US Air Force; member of the New Albany School Board, 1982-1986; member and past Governor of Moose Lodge 1427, where he earned his Pilgrim Degree of Merit; past President of BIA Builders Association and retired from AEP.
Family and friends will gather on Friday, November 27, 2015, 10 AM – 11 AM at Newcomer Funeral Home, NE Chapel, 3047 East Dublin-Granville Road, Columbus, OH 43231 with the Funeral Service at 11 AM.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Moose Charities, Inc., 155 N International Drive, Mooseheart, IL 60539.
