Geraldine "Gerri" Piccinini, 76, of Orient, OH, passed away on October 31, 2015 after a lengthy battle with Alzheimer's.
She was born on January 24, 1939. She was preceded in death by her parents, Rufus and Dorothy Burns, 3 brothers, and 1 sister.
Surviving family includes husband Daniel, daughter Lori, sisters-in-law, Helen Nester, Carol Burns and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held from 2-4 and 6-8pm, Tuesday, November 3, 2015 at Newcomer Funeral Home and Crematory, SW Chapel, 3393 Broadway, Grove City, OH. A funeral service will be held at 10am, Wednesday, November 4, 2015 at Our Mother of Sorrows Chapel at St. Joseph Cemetery where burial will follow.
Gerri was a dedicated 30 year employee of the Columbus Dispatch.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be directed to Ohio Health Hospice, 800 McConnell Drive, Columbus, OH 43214 or Canine for Companions, 4989 Ohio 37, Delaware, OH 43015.
