Gianna Grace Delatore

In Loving Memory of Gianna Grace Delatore, age 7.

With hearts full of love and immeasurable sorrow, we share that our beloved daughter, Gianna Grace Delatore age 7, passed away on November 28, 2025 in Columbus, Ohio.

She was the cherished child of Miranda and Luca Delatore, and a sweet sister to Benjamin, Jonathan, and Hadley. Gianna was deeply loved by her paternal grandparents Richard and LaDonna Delatore, and maternal grandparents Jeffrey and Beth Hoffman as well as her Great Grandparents, Aunts, Uncles and cousins. Her love for her family was boundless, shining brightest in quiet mornings and playful evenings together.

Gianna brought sunshine to every room. She adored school at Scioto Ridge Elementary (Powell, Ohio)—always curious, eager to learn, and proud of every new experience. Her friends meant the world to her, and she loved sharing smiles at recess or in art class. Some of her happiest moments were spent on walks outside or at the beach, finding beauty in simple moments, and returning home to cuddle with her dogs who were her joyful companions. She will be remembered for her bright smile, her kind heart, and the way she made even ordinary days feel special. Her nurses, doctors, teachers, classmates, neighbors, and everyone who knew her were touched by her gentle spirit and brave, joyful presence.

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, December 13, 2025 at 2pm at St. Joan of Arc Church, 10700 Liberty Road, Powell, OH 43065, with visitation from 12:30pm until the start of the service. All who loved Gianna are welcome to attend and share memories.

In lieu of flowers, the family invites donations to the Nationwide Children’s Hospital in Gianna’s memory, or to a children’s charity of your choice. Gianna was—and always will be—deeply loved. Her light remains with us, guiding our steps and filling our hearts with gratitude for the precious time we shared.
