Glen A Johns

Glen Albert Johns, age 89, passed away June 16, 2018, after a life well lived. He was preceded in death by his parents, Glen W. and Ocie Johns; his beloved wife of 62 years, Violet; and great grandsons, Carter and Jackson. Glen was an Eagle Scout and he proudly served his country as a Master Sergeant in the 101st Airborne in Korea. He retired from State Auto Insurance after 43 years as a Vice President. He was a member of New Albany United Methodist Church for over 50 years. He is survived by his children Jennifer, Laura and Glen and grandchildren Erin (Eric), Benjamin (Allison), Kyle, Nicklaus (Kayla), Megan, Kaleigh (Justin) and Zachary. His great-grandchildren Jaden, Evan, Maddox, Emmi, Callaya, Loralee, Carson and Violet Mae; brother in law, Clyde Eide and loving nieces. A special thanks to Paul, Lori and Don for being there.

A memorial service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association.

Private family service will be held at Maplewood Cemetery, New Albany, OH.
