Glen I. Patterson, 79, of Columbus, went to be with the Lord on May 18, 2018, surrounded by his loving family.
Born on February 3, 1939 in Scottown, Ohio. He grew up in Proctorville, Ohio and attended Fairland High School. He retired from the Teamsters in 1998. He had a great love of the Lord, golf and Ohio State Football.
Proceeded in death by parents (Robert and Grace), Brother and Sisters (Wanda Ward, Rosemary Wilks, Bobby Jack and Donna Lewis).
Survived by wife, Irebelle of 36 years. Sons, John (Sharon) and Glen Jr. Step-sons, Gene Laws and Tim (Debbie) Laws. 3 Granddaughters, Angela (Chris) Metcalf, Denise (Michael) Houchins, and Jessica (Chaz) Tilghman. 5 Great-Granddaughters and 2 Great-Grandsons along with many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be Saturday, June 2 from 10am to 12pm at Maize Road Baptist Church 4251 Maize Road, Columbus, Ohio 43224.
Funeral services will follow at 12pm.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Maize Road Building Fund or Mount Carmel Hospice.
